On Sunday night I was invited by the Caldwell Partners to the opening dinner for the 2008 Top 40 Under 40 winners. Dale Lastman and I, both Top 40 Under 40 alumni from the first year of the program (1995) were asked to attend and speak to the group of 2008 Top 40. I was particularly impressed by the 8 people who were Top 40 winners who held leadership postions in healthcare or biotech fields. It is always an inspiration to meet with the new Top 40 Under 40 winners. This year was the strongest group of healthcare and biotech leaders since the award was founded. We need strong leaders in healthcare right now and it is great to see such a national representation of excellence in healthcare represented by this years Top 40
