Last weekend many many riders took to the indoor spinning bikes in clubs around the GTA to have a practice for the June Ride to Conquer Cancer. I was out at Gears in Mississauga for a packed and superb 90 minute spin. Thanks to all the instructors and volunteers who came out and “hit the bike”. Spinning in this cold weather with others training for the RTCC is just superb. Thanks Stever Merker and all who pulled this together. Fantastic! Another sporting event, the Taylor Cup, and outdoor pond hockey tourney up in Severn raised nearly $140,000! The Taylor Cup is an amazing event, in its 5th year, and has raised about $500,000 for PMH. To all who braved the cold to play pond hockey in the Taylor Cup, congratulations and our sincere thanks. You are brave, hearty and generous souls. I heard you had a BLAST! Play on!
