The Ride to Conquer Cancer has now been successfully run in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and last weekend in Montreal. A total of $34 million was raised nationally which was well beyond our expectations. The Ride, now done its first year, is a national success story. We are grateful to the leaders, supporters, volunteers and ESPECIALLY the riders who contributed their passion to this amazing event. In Toronto, the Campbell Family Cancer Research Institute is the beneficiary of the $14.5 million raised.
On another subject the national premiere of the “In Our Lifetime” TV creative developed by Y&R will run on BNN at 5:50 pm tomorrow (Wednesday on BNN). You can view the 90 second ad at www.pmhf.ca if you haven’t seen it. We are also having success getting it placed on other networks pro bono. Finally, Joe’s Team triathalon on Lake Joseph raised an incredible $855,000 on Saturday. Joe Finley and his family and friends are superstars!
