I am SO proud to announce that today, The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation was awarded the regional winner of Waterstone Human Capital’s top 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures in the not-for-profit category. PMHF was nominated for this award, which was followed up by an extensive application submitted back in June, about why PMHF is the BEST corporate culture in all of Canada!
The Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation is one of North America’s most successful social enterprises as measured by effectiveness and efficiency – and we wouldn’t be so successful without the incredible staff, volunteers, walkers, riders, colleagues and community who support PMH.
If it wasn’t for Mary, Ben and Bob in particular, we wouldn’t be as challenged to go that extra mile. You put a fire under us and constantly support our initiatives. Thanks also to our wonderful PMHF Board who are just the best – no question about it! It is because of leaders like you, that we can constantly innovate and challenge our donors to give to a world-class institution.
I also want to thank each and every member of the PMH staff plus all of the volunteers who are such an important part of our culture. Emma Pavlov, Ken Woo and David Harris, who chairs the HR committee of our Board, also deserve special thanks.
Most of all, thanks to each and every staff member at PMHF – I’ve been honoured to be President & CEO for over seven years now and there isn’t a better team of 54 people around.
The finalists will be announced in November and we will be sure to keep you posted! For more information about the award, please click here.
