“One of the most noble things you can do in life is raise money or support for a worthy cause”. I gave a presentation to some of our surgeons back in February of 2005 and had little plastic cards made up with this quote. I was just digging through my drawer and found some of the cards. I am grateful to be part of the “worthy cause” that is Princess Margaret. In these tough economic times the “worthy cause” never falls from our sights. In fact, as the economy has had a monumental shift and as our view of “what’s important” is seeming to evolve, the worthy cause remains a bright light that guides us. Fads and fashions come and go but the “worthy cause” prevails. Here’s to finding and supporting your own “worthy cause”.
