Kevin and Sandy Sullivan Discover GTx

Posted by Paul

One of our great board members, supporters, and all around good guys is Kevin Sullivan. Kevin and his wonderful wife Sandy (she rides a bike better than Lance Armstrong) came in today for a presentation of some amazing new imaging technology. The technology was developed by Dr. Jon Irish, the Sullivan Chair in Surgical Oncology. The photo below is of Kevin, Sandy and Dr. Irish. PMH is leading the world in image guided technologies used in surgery for cancer patients. Dr. Jaffray, Dr. Irish, plus a group of PhD Engineers, Physicists, and Surgeons are all working together on the “C Arm” and many other imaging technologies. Dr. Irish has a motto about “Create, Innovate, Translate, Evaluate, and Educate” that touches all aspects of his extraordinary leadership of our 50+ strong group of surgical oncologists. Kevin and Sandy saw this technology in use and were walked through a power point presentation on the developments. We couldn’t do this kind of world beating and world leading work without support from people like Kevin and Sandy. Thanks Kevin and Sandy Sullivan! Thanks Dr. Jon and GTx Team! We’re creating the future right here! Good work from Clayton Atto on getting all this together!
