I’m so humbled, honoured and simply ecstatic… Waterstone Human Capital today, named PMHF has one of the national winners of Canada’s 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2010!
I have been with the Foundation now for seven years and never in my career, have I worked with such passionate people who really do everything to make PMHF, the best place to come to work, every day.
The PMHF staff are committed, proud, and rewarded immensely by the work that we do. This commitment grows from personal experiences and deeply ingrained stories of struggle, pain, and loss from cancer. Our passion is born out of loss but also of hope. The reality of cancer hits us hard, which is why our vision statement – To Conquer Cancer in our Lifetime – is much, much more than just words on a page. It is one of the reasons why I believe, PMHF is THE best corporate culture in Canada.
As mentioned when we received the regional award, PMHF would not be such a great place to work if it wasn’t for our incredible Board, as well as for Bob, Ben and Mary – all of whom ask the difficult questions, challenge the Foundation to reach higher, and unite ALL staff at The Princess Margaret in our cause. Thank you!
Most importantly, thanks to all of the staff and our hundreds of volunteers of course. To EVERYONE who contributes to our culture – our lottery ticket buyers, nearly one million donors, our Riders, Walkers and Road Hockey to Conquer Cancer players… we are a GREAT team!
