  • Faces of The Princess Margaret

We want to showcase the breadth of work being done within the Cancer Centre, the talent and passion, and let you get to know who is next door on a personal level.

  • You Danced to Conquer Cancer

Thank you for raising $450,000 at Dance to Conquer Cancer!

  • AN HISTORIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Emmanuelle Gattuso, Allan Slaight and the Slaight family made an extraordinary donation of $50 million gift, the biggest ever private gift to cancer research in Canadian history.

Why is Samantha running the half?

My name is Samantha Colwell-Castles and I am running a half marathon on the 1st of June 2013 to raise money for mesothelioma research.

I will run my challenge and all funds raised will to go to two leaders in treatment and research.  This is my way of saying thank you to them for giving me a role in the fight and helping me to feel a little less helpless.  A thank you card just didn’t seem enough.

Meet Laurie Tucker

I work in the Wig Salon three days a week doing wig fittings with patients and helping with the Look Good Feel Better program. I run all the patient programs here at the Cancer Centre, from Refreshment Program, Flower program, Newspaper Program, Chemo Buddies, Diversional Cart to the Book Sale. At The Princess Margaret Lodge I run the Wig Bank, Movie Night, Music Night, Craft Night and Bingo Night.

I Ride for Research

On June 12, 2010 our family’s life was turned upside down. Olivia, our 3.5 year old daughter, was diagnosed with Stage Four High risk Neuroblastoma.

It is my belief that Olivia would not be a survivor today without research centers like The Princess Margaret. This is why I do The Ride To Conquer Cancer.
